Beacon Headlight Restoration LLC ("Beacon," "we," "us," or "our") operates beaconheadlightrestoration.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

1. Information you give us

When you fill out our booking form, call us, text us, or email us, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your vehicle year, make, and model
• Your city or area, and the address where you want us to do the work
• Anything else you choose to tell us in the message field

You do not have to give us any of this. But we need your name, phone number, and vehicle to book you.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, some information is collected automatically:

• The page you came from and the page you land on
• Basic details about your device and browser
• Whether you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad, a Google link, or typed the address in directly

We use this to see which ads and pages actually bring in customers.

3. Cookies and tracking

Our site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. that uses cookies and similar technology. It tells us how many people saw our ad, visited the site, and filled out the form. It also lets us show ads to people who visited our site.

We do not use cookies to sell your information to anyone.

You can turn off or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also control ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and through your device privacy settings. Turning cookies off will not stop you from using this site or booking with us.

4. How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

• Contact you about your booking and set a time
• Confirm your appointment and send reminders
• Do the work and take payment
• Handle warranty claims
• Answer your questions
• Understand which ads and pages are working
• Keep our own business records and meet tax and legal requirements

5. Text messages and calls

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we can call or text you about your service request, your appointment, and your warranty. Normal message and data rates may apply. You can tell us to stop at any time by replying STOP or just telling us. We do not sell your phone number and we do not send bulk marketing texts to people who did not ask for them.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with the services we need to run the business:

• Google (Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Google Apps Script) to receive and store booking requests
• Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising and ad performance
• Netlify to host this website
• Square, Found, and Stripe to take and record payment
• Our accountant, insurer, or a lawyer, if we need them
• Law enforcement or a court, if we are legally required to

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy covering what they do with data.

7. Payment information

We do not store your full card number. Card payments are handled by Square or Stripe, who process the card directly. We only see the amount, the last few digits, and whether the payment went through.

8. How long we keep information

We keep booking and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you, honor the two-year warranty, and meet tax and legal record keeping requirements. After that we delete them.

9. How we protect information

We keep your information in password protected accounts and we limit who can see it. Beacon is a small owner operated business, so in practice the owner is the only person handling it. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot promise it is impossible for anyone to ever get at it.

10. Your choices

You can:

• Ask us what information we have about you
• Ask us to correct anything wrong
• Ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it for warranty, tax, or legal reasons
• Tell us to stop calling or texting you

11. Children

This site is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child gave us information, email us and we will delete it.

12. Links to other sites

Our site may link to other websites, like Facebook or Google. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information. Read their policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Big changes will be posted here.
